Cuppa was born over a curry + a pint between James Brown and Steve Ritchie, stemming from their 15 year working collaboration, and a friendship of nearly twice as long.

After over 5 years of working in larger-scale corporate architecture, James return to working on local projects for everyday people, founding Cuppa Architects in 2017 in order focus on what really makes him tick...

Following Steve's retirement, the business is now entirely family run from their small purpose built studio in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset.

James + Emma pride themselves in offering friendly, approachable service where the central focus is creating quality spaces in which to live, work and play.  The Cuppa Team all love meeting people (+ their pets!), with a focus on acting as a friendly guide through the design, planning & detail processes in a down-to-earth manner.  ​​

Despite an ever busy workload, Steve + James still ensure they find the time to enjoy a well-earned cuppa, curry + a pint.
